Many firsts

Kale & I survived a few days without Jason. One of the nights Jason was gone he was at a Cardinal baseball game. Kale got dressed in a cute Cardinal outfit (from Rhett :)) and we were going to watch the game, but all I could find were the Cubs & White Sox. Kale was not happy...
I'm not sure if he was mad we couldn't watch the game or because he didn't get to go to St Louis with his dad, but he threw a fit!
but, I think he may have just been tired- poor guy
We had a good Labor Day weekend and when we got home Monday night Kale got his first haircut! Yes, we cut his hair. His side burns and spike in the back were really long so we just trimmed them up.

after
he looks like such a big boy now

I had my first day back at work and that same day my first night away from Kale. I actually had a meeting out of town for two nights and Jason & Kale survived their first two nights alone...actually they had no problems at all and Kale did great at his first week of daycare.

This past weekend we talked about going to first MU game of the season and decided at noon we better go now before we get too busy at work so we loaded up and headed to Columbia for Kale's first Tiger football game. The game started at 6 and we made it to the stadium parking lot, after walking forever, right as the game was starting! We had great seats...okay they were on the hill, but my awesome brother gave us the tickets (thanks Kyle!) and we got to sit with Stephanie & Kyle :). Jason & I had talked before the game & agreed that we wouldn't stay for the whole game...the Tigers were losing at halftime, Kale fell asleep sometime during the third quarter and with 40 seconds left on the clock we were making our way out of the stadium- we stuck to our guns on that one! It definitely wasn't a great game, but we had fun and the Tigers won so it was a good night! We got to Shelbina late (11:30 or so) and spent the night there.

I'm glad I got a picture at home because his Mizzou shirt didn't survive the drive to Columbia

Kale did really good at the game- he actually got mad when we would turn him away from the game or the jumbotron!

The next morning Kale got lots of time Grandma Lola & Grandpa Ed before we headed to church for Cooper's baptism. Cooper did great during the baptism and pictures..I am hoping Kale is as good this weekend!

Did you see Heath, my brother, and dad with all the kids on the hill! Said it was crazy over there! Glad I got the comfy seats! Looks like he is growing so fast! Hard to believe he will be 10 months old by the time ours gets here!

Love the sequence of pictures! Kale is too cute! His picture is hung on the wall outside Rhett's room and every morning Rhett points and says, "Baby Kkkkk". Close, right?! Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday! :)
