Happy Birthday Kale

I can't believe how fast Kale is growing up!  After a fun birthday weekend there wasn't a lot of excitement on the actual day.  We had pancakes {I promise I know how to cook other things, but the boys love panckaes} for breakfast.  Lane & I sang to Kale and he got to blow out candles.  We headed to Quincy for the day.  We ate at Pizza Hut and did some shopping before heading home.  Jason worked it out so he could drive back to MO for the night so we sang to Kale again and then enjoyed some cupcakes.

Fathers Day

Kale started off Father's Day by enjoying some leftover cake!  Then we all had some pancakes before Jason opened his present and I took some pictures of my 3 boys :)

Birthday Party

We are so thankful we moved back in time to have Kale's 2nd birthday party at our new house in Missouri so it was closer for our family to come over.  We had a great time celebrating with cake & ice cream followed by some water fun!  Kale was excited to get lots of new toys & some clothes.

Puffs

Lane is a good eater especially if you leave the room and his big brother is around!  I learned real fast that just because the food was gone didn't mean Lane was eating it :)

 mmmm...these are good
Kale is such a big helper and loves Robert (aka Lane)

Move to MO

We are moved to Missouri (and have been for a while now)!  During our last few weeks in Illinois we were down to almost nothing in the house because we moved all of our "stuff" to our new house...including our furniture which makes for interstingmeal time with 2 little kids! :)  Here are a few pictures during that fun {crazy} time.

Kale trying to make sure he didn't get left behind :)
 Lane just chilling
we spent a lot of time in the garage and found some cool stuff to play with
one toy left until the end....Kale's tool box

Lane pretty much just laid around the whole time!

Eckler Easter

Easter at Grandma Barb & Grandpa Tom's had a huge egg hunt {like always} and this year Kale was a little more into it.  The hid over 150 eggs...I can't remember how many for sure, but I think grandma might be finding them all summer long since not all of them were found :)

After hanging out with everyone in Middletown we headed back to mom & dad's for supper and another egg hunt

Easter

The Easter bunny found us in Missouri this year without any problems and left Kale & Lane a basket full of goodies.  After waking all 3 boys up we checked out their candy, Kale ate some, got dressed and headed to Middletown for church.  We went to Grandma Barb's church and even got to hear Grandma play the piano!

Kale was not excited about taking pictures, but we tried anyway.  He didn't want to sit with just Lane so we added Jason and that was okay...
but my turn was not so good...so we didn't even try to set the timer and get a family photo.

Pollard Easter

Kale was a little more excited about Easter this year...he still needed some help finding the eggs, but not to find or eat the candy :)  The weekend before Easter we had the Pollard family egg hunt.

Cowboy?

I found this one afternoon a while back...when Kale disappears I usually find him in my room looking out one of the windows and he typically carries his stool around wherever he needs it, but this was this first time he had ever found my boots. Anyway, I needed a break from packing and decided I should try to get caught up with the blog before we move and thought this was a good picture to start with!
